Frequently Asked Questions
About Virtual Tours
What’s the Difference in Java
and QTVR?
- JAVA is built into the operating
system of most every computer used today and therefore
our JAVA content does not require any additional software
download to view it. However JAVA has traditionally not
worked well in older MAC computers. QTVR stands for QuickTime
Virtual Reality and is a technology that creates a more
integrated experience, especially when using sound. QTVR
is free software download for all platforms and preinstalled
into every MAC as well as many Windows machines on delivery.
This combination allows almost every viewer to see our
content with no need for additional installations.
How much do virtual tours cost?
- They can be as affordable as $100.00
also providing customization, we bid each project on the
needs of that client. When we have compared pricing with
our competitors, we truely believe that we offer a much
better value on a high quality virtual tour. The difference
is clear.
Does the tour go on my
website or yours?
- In most cases we will host their
new 360 degree virtual tour on our servers, but we also
have many clients that decide to host there own. It
is really up to you.
How long does the Virtual Tour Process
Take?
- It really depends on the difficulty
of the tour design. If it is one of our “Standard
Virtual Tour” designs, the process can take as little
as 2-3 days after we shoot it for you to have it working.
If it is a more difficult design of a custom virtual tour,
it may take up to 5 to 10 days.
Will viewers have to download additional
software to view virtual tours?
- No, viewers do not have to download any
additional software to view 360 Spin virtual tours.
- All you need is a basic PC or Mac running an industry standard
Java enabled web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer,
Netscape Navigator or Firefox.
If you have XP as your operating
system you may need to install the Java Virtual Machine. This
is now a standard part of XP but unfortunately some versions
were released without it. It can be downloaded from
